mina-zokiMy name is Jasmina Carbaugh. First off, I want to say thank you for visiting Sea This Life. It’s been a lifelong dream to share what I’m passionate about with like-minded people. With all of the blogs out there, it’s an honor to have you here reading mine.

By day, I work as a social and digital marketing professional where I create stories and interactions that influence people’s lives in a positive way. Each day I find new and creative ways to help people grow and realize their dreams, and I knew someday that would mean having my own blog. Growing up I always knew I wanted to do something that supported those around me, and when you’re little that usually means being a nurse or a teacher.

I eventually realized that I could help people in my own way through writing, social media, and digital marketing. Telling stories and sharing information is what makes my world go ’round. I have always been an observer online, reading everything I can find on health and wellness tips, beauty secrets, restaurants, recipes, travel, fashion, and animal welfare. These are the things that make my life fun and exciting, and I want to share them with you!

What exactly will you find on this blog? Tried and true recommendations for enjoying life to fullest from a realistic perspective. You might notice some of the things I share look less edited and more like what you would experience in “real life.” This is because: 1. life is not perfect 2. it’s okay not to be perfect. And, in all honesty, it’s more fun and relatable to show what’s real rather than leave people always wondering, “How come it’s not perfect when I do it?” I strive to do my best, but real life is a little more messy and…REAL.

My goal with this blog is to share the best of what I experience out in the world. It might be a great new restaurant, my favorite coffee shops in town, where to go out for a special occasion or holiday, hotel recommendations, beauty secrets, and more.

These topics are near and dear to me and I believe when you are passionate about something you do it well, which is why I started this blog. There were times in my life where it was challenging to figure some things out – like how to get clear skin. These little discoveries can have significant impacts on our day-to-day happiness. Now, I’m bringing those things to you in the pages of Sea This Life. My wish is that you will find at least one thing here that will make you smile and give you some inspiration.
